À l'occasion du 80ème anniversaire du Front populaire, l'Hôtel de Ville de Paris consacre une exposition à cette période et fait revivre l’histoire à travers 400 photographies iconiques de l'époque : essentiellement des images réalisées par Robert Capa, David Seymour, Pierre Jamet, Fred Stein, et Henri Cartier-Bresson. L’exposition 1936, Le Front populaire en photographie sera visible du 19 mai au 23 juillet 2016 à la salle Saint-Jean de l'Hôtel de Ville, 5 rue Lobau, dans le 4ème arrondissement.

New York – A two-person exhibition of photographs by David “Chim” Seymour and Roman Vishniac from the 1930s – 1950s will be on view at Howard Greenberg Gallery Two, 41 East 57th Street, from February 1 – February 23, 2013. Among the great masters of European photography, Chim and Vishniac are famed for photojournalism and social documentary depicting tumultuous events of the 20th century, as well portraits of some of the most important celebrities of the time.
