« Stoned and Respectable » : fêtez la musique avec les Rolling Stones
La Galerie de l'instant revient sur les 50 ans de carrière du groupe le plus déjanté des années 60, les Rolling Stones, à travers une série de clichés intitulée « Stoned and Respectable ».
Les clichés, pris par de nombreux photographes tels que Dominique Tarlé, Claude Gassian, Gered Mankowitz ou encore Terry O'Neil, retracent la vie de ces rock stars nées à Londres en 1962 et dont le monde entier s'arrache encore les titres les plus inédits.

“Stoned and Respectable”, 50 years of the Rolling Stones à la Galerie de l'Instant
La Galerie de l’Instant est heureuse de présenter cette nouvelle exposition, consacrée au plus grand groupe de rock du monde : les Rolling Stones. Depuis 50 ans, ils font rêver et danser des millions de fans à travers le monde... Avec l’aide des plus grands photographes, nous souhaitions rendre hommage à cette carrière hors norme.
L’aventure a commencé pour la Galerie, avec les célèbres images de Dominique Tarlé, en 1971, à la Villa Nellcôte, dans le sud de la France. Dominique fut le seul photographe à vivre avec le groupe, venu saluer Keith Richards un après-midi, il resta finalement plus de 6 mois, et vécu la folie du mariage de Mick et Bianca à St Tropez, ainsi que l’enregistrement du sublime « Exile on Main Street ».

"Destiny caught up with Terry O'Neill in the late fifties. Back then, every day promised a new discovery, whether it was the new standard of beauty represented by pencil-thin Twiggy or the first Bond girl, Ursula Andress, in a tiny white bikini. In 1959, O'Neill was taking shots of touching partings and reunions at Heathrow Airport for British Airways when by chance he photographed a man sleeping on the floor. That man turned out to be the British Home Secretary. A few days later, the Daily Sketch hired O'Neill to photograph a strange quartet fated to become legends, the Beatles.
