Caruana is a photographic artist and founding director of the London based studioSTRIKE artists studios. Caruana was born in London, 1983. She has an MA in photography from the Royal College of Art, London and is a Senior Lecturer of Photography at the University for the Creative Arts, Surrey, UK.Caruana’s own art practice is grounded in research concerned with narratives of love, betrayal and fantasy. Significant to all Caruana’s work is the questioning of how today’s technology is impacting relationships. Her series ‘Married Man’ documents love and life of the everyday and her later work ‘Fairytale for Sale’ explores the strange ritual of newlyweds blocking out their faces in online adverts. Frederique is a documentary filmmaker and a photojournalist whose work concentrates on heritage and post conflict recovery. Frederique has been commissioned by the British Council to produce a new film about South Sudan ‘Our Bright Stars’ (45’). Jason Evans est un photographe, au sens large. Outre sa pratique de la photographie, il écrit pour Photoworks et Aperture et enseigne à l’Université du Pays de Galles, à Newport. Ses photographies de mode sont habitées par l’idée de l’être. Son travail dans le champ de l’industrie de la musique explore la relation entre le son et la vision. Parmi ses récents projets, il a été commissaire d’une exposition rétrospective consacrée à la photographie britannique des années 1990 pour le Photomonth de Cracovie, et ses images ont été exposées dans le cadre de l’exposition Not in Fashion au MMk de Frankfort. Il est actuellement engagé dans un projet de recherche dédié aux livres de photographie japonaise contemporaine.
