Fred holland DayFred Holland Day est né à Boston (Massachusetts) le 8 juillet 1864 et mort le 12 novembre 1933. He attended the Chauncey School in Boston, where he acquired an interest in great literature and art. He began to collect rare books and later became interested in publishing. He greatly admired the poet John Keats and raised funds for an American memorial to Keats at Hampstead, England. Day's collection of Keats' works and memorabilia was one of the finest in the world and is now housed at the Keats House.With friends, Day published two literary magazines, The Mahogany Tree in 1892 and The Knight Errant in 1892-93. James dr. DeaneJames Dr. Deane est Américain, né en 1801 et mort en 1858. Le docteur James Deane, de Greenfield, dans le Massachussetts, a dessiné et photographié des empreintes laissées par des fossiles, dans la carrière de grés de Turner's Falls. Ses photographies de ces "curieuses empreintes" furent publiées après sa mort dans Ichnographs from the Sandstone of Connecticut River.

Monica DenevanMonica Denevan studied photography at San Francisco State University but it wasn’t until she started traveling extensively that she began to see differently. She has been visiting parts of Burma and China for many years, traveling light, with minimal equipment. Denevan’s photographs have been exhibited internationally including solos shows at Scott Nichols Gallery (San Francisco) and Tao Gallery (Hong Kong).
