Linda BertazzaSince I was a child I have been collecting abandoned or ephemeral things to somehow prolong their existence. Archives are, by their nature, threatened by destruction, which indeed encourages their existence and persistence. By activating private archives and giving them a new life and form, I hope the way history is recorded can become more diverse. I believe that private archives play a key role in developing collective memory by providing a different perspective, particularly when official documentation is lacking.I have worked as photographer, teacher and production assistant in a number of settings, among others, Spazio Labo’|Centro di Fotografia, L’artiere Publishing and Tuscany Photographic Workshop, Bologna. I currently work as photography teacher at MAST Foundation, Bologna
