STILLLIFE - Vanitas in Photography
In the early days of photography, exposure times were very long, making static objects the ideal subject matter for the pioneers of the medium. In this exhibition Kahmann Gallery will show a selection of present-day still life photography by eight renowned artists. Rutger ten Broeke, Linelle Deunk, Casper Faassen, Lonneke van der Palen, Paul den Hollander, Carla van de Puttelaar, Jeroen Toirkens and Lorenzo Vitturi will all present their interpretation... - Exposition
Kahmann Gallery presents "Time & Pace" of Rutger ten Broeke and Linelle Deunk
Kahmann Gallery proudly presents the first dual exhibition of Rutger ten Broeke and Linelle Deunk, bringing together two generations of photography. This exhibition will show that their work has more in common than just absence of colour. In both their works there is a sense of timelessness and placelessness, asking nothing of the viewer but to enjoy the image as it is.
