The first major retrospective of the works of Horst P. Horst (1906-1999), a legendary artist and recognized master of light, form and composition. Working mainly in Paris and New York, he was one of the most influential fashion and portrait photographers of the 20th century. The exhibition includes more than 250 prints and a number of haute couture dresses from celebrated designers, including Chanel, Lanvin and Vionnet. The exhibition also explores Horst's collaborations and friendships with Coco Chanel, Diana Vreeland, Marlene Dietrich and Salvador Dali.
