La seconde édition de la BPM, Biennale de la photographie de Mulhouse se tiendra du 4 juin au 4 septembre 2016.
La BPM est un festival transfrontalier (France, Allemagne, Suisse) dont la volonté est de défendre la photographie contemporaine autour d’un temps fort et fédérateur.

PHotoEspaña 2013 : 74 exhibitions and activities in Madrid, Alcalá de Henares, Alcobendas, Cuenca, Lanzarote and Zaragoza
Between June 5 and July 28, PHotoEspaña 2013, the XVI edition of the international festival of photography and visual arts, presents 74 exhibitions with works by 328 artists from 42 countries and an ample selection of public and professional activities. Lanzarote, Zaragoza and Prague are added to Madrid, Cuenca, Alcalá de Henares, and Alcobendas as venues of the festival.

In his last years as general curator of the festival, Gerardo Mosquera presents an exhibition program that revolves around the theme, Body. Eros and Politics, which look at the diversity with which photography has approached one of its major themes: the human body.

Fifty One Fine Art Photography is pleased to present the series « The Quest for the Man on the White Donkey » by photographer Yaakov Israel.
The work of Yaakov Israel (born 1974, Israel) balances between landscape and social portraiture. The photographer explores his native country Israel patiently and only captures it when a certain sentiment unravels, either by a transformation in the landscape, or by a human encounter. The dynamic of waiting and searching characterizes his visual language. The meticulous usage of a large format camera accentuates this exceptional intensity, since it obligates the photographer to work in a perceptive manner.
