Fotofestival in Poland 2014
13th edition of Fotofestiwal will take place on June 5-15, 2014 in Łódź, as ever. This time the festival returns to the venue in which 10 earlier editions took place. Main exhibitions and events will be housed at Art_Inkubator in Fabryka Sztuki (Art Factory), three post-industrial buildings which have been modernized and transformed into an impressive, high-tech place within the last 3 years. The programme of this year Fotofestiwal is afoot, but we will disclose a few details right now.
Future Photo Show is a discussion panel devoted to the theme of future, combined with Q&A with authors. The guests will be visionary artists, who create images of the future. We have invited three photographers: Phillip Toledano, Vincent Fournier and Kobas Laksa.

Leica 6x7 Gallery cordially invites to the “PUREVIEW" Exhibition by Przemek Dzienis.
Landscape has proven to be a long-time inspiration for the photography. This comes both from an eternal human need to document one’s surroundings and from historical connection between photography and painting. Until 1970s, this relationship remained a tumultuous one: full of enmity and reproaches, it consisted, among other things, of efforts to elaborate new approaches to the common legacy of the two domains.
The works by Przemek Dzienis to be shown in Leica Gallery give a perfect example of the newest turn in this historical relationship. Landscapes created by the artist with use of a photographic camera captivate with their minimalism and abstract-painting gestures through which the artist adds colour. For... - Exposition

The Lookout Gallery would like to invite you to the solo exhibition of the new project by Przemek Dzienis, which officially inaugurates the artist's cooperation with our gallery.
Przemek Dzienis is one of the most talented Polish photographers of the young generation, known for the sterile and rough aesthetics of his works. Commenting on his I can't speak, I'm sorry series, Magdalena Wróblewska wrote that ‘his photographs record constructions created against the rule of stability and persistence, objects made of unsculptable materials, sometimes arranged into larger systems with the man constituting an integral part.’ In his new project, Falling Up, Przeme... - Exposition

The idea of « 2 m2 of Fashion » is to show the new developments in the area of young Polish fashion photography. The exhibition displays works of artists who seldom appear in galleries, but instead successfully publish their photographs in large-circulation glossy magazines and work on advertising photo sessions, often for worldwide campaigns. Alongside with them we present a group of artists who use the language of fashion to create their own visual narra- tions and to construct aesthetic expressions. Thus, the exhibition presents renowned photo- graphers together with those at the beginning of their careers.
