Jacopo Brancati (né en 1966), photographe professionnel et journaliste spécialisé, vit et travaille en France depuis 1992. Après des études de Sciences Politiques à l'Université de Gênes, Jacopo Brancati s'oriente vers une pratique ethnologique de la photographie.Il s'intéresse dès lors au patrimoine culturel maritime et travaille en collaboration avec plusieurs Musées maritimes européens. Il réalise ainsi une fresque sur l'univers portuaires qui le mène des rives génoises aux contrées Nordiques. Dans ses photographies, la lumière dessine à petites touches précises le rendu psychologique et émotionnel des personnages qu'il croise au fil de ses voyages. After studying at Florence University where he got a Bachelor of Arts (specialization: History of Art) he started working as a journalist, than as a photojournalist, and finally he devoted himself entirely to photography. MARCUS BRANDAOOriginaire de Récife au Brésil, il décide, en 1991, d'aller étudier en Europe. Il a alors 20 ans. Après 3 années en France, il part un an en Allemagne.C'est lors d'une journée « portes ouvertes » à l'école Bauhaus à Berlin qu'il tombe littéralement amoureux de la photographie et qu'il décide d'en faire son métier.Il retourne à Paris et y suit des cours de photographie. Il perfectionne sa technique dans les studios Pin up en assistant pendant deux années les plus grands noms de la photo dans plusieurs domaines.
