After studying at Florence University where he got a Bachelor of Arts (specialization: History of Art) he started working as a journalist, than as a photojournalist, and finally he devoted himself entirely to photography. He studied Photojournalism and Theater Photography at IED, Milan (ITA) and then he enrolled in the One-Year Certificate Program in Documentary and Photojournalism at the International Center of Photography (ICP) of New York (USA) where he was awarded the Director's Fellowship.
He was one the International Photography Awards "Facing" 2010 top 25.
He created and curated the first edition of the Lucca Digital Photo Festival OFF section 2010, in which where shown talented new authors and already famous and international leading artists, among them Massimo Vitali and Domingo Milella.
He works as a photographer specialized in portraying both people and landscapes.
His interests bring him to use the camera to understand how people connect with the space around them.
