The exhibition traces the history of Soviet and Russian photography from the early 20th century to contemporary times.The display offers viewers to explore a variety of styles and narratives of the Soviet and Russian photography as seen through the eponymous magazine, spanning from advertising to war photography, and from portraits of high officials to experimental amateur art from the 60s… The exhibition presents work from more than 120 photographers featuring vintage prints from the Lumiere Brother Center for Photography collection, photographs sourced from private collections, magazine covers, and key editorials.
