The exhibition is as comprehensive as it is ephemeral featuring a wealth of photographs, all of Frank’s books since 1947, and his films that he began focusing on in the early 1960s. Among the titles included are the 1959 Beat Generation tribute “Pull My Daisy” based on an adapted play by Jack Kerouac, “Me and My Brother” from 1968 starring Christopher Walken in his first feature film and Sam Shepard in his first ever film appearance, and newer works such as Frank’s 2004/2008 autobiographical piece “True Story."
