Winning image of the BenQ photo-critique competition, ‘Night at the Station’ by Steven Reid
The prize bundle includes products from some of the industry’s leading photographic manufacturers such as X-Rite, NEC, DxO, ExpoImaging, Rift Labs, Macphun and Tecco.
“The Photography Show prize draw was designed to help digital imaging enthusiasts to manage their colour workflow,” says Geoffrey Clements, Managing Director at Color Confidence. “We were very pleased with the turnout at this year’s show. The Color Confidence team were kept extremely busy, answering questions and providing information on the range of products that we had available.”
“We achieved what we set out to do, and that was to offer help, advice and solutions for a wide variety of colour management needs. We were also able to educate new audiences on the benefits of incorporating colour management into their digital imaging workflow,” Geoffrey concluded.
Color Confidence has also announced the winner of the BenQ ‘Photo of the Show’ competition, which took place at the photo-critique area. Steven Reid from Wiltshire was awarded a brand new BenQ PG2401PT monitor for his image ‘Night at the Station’.
The winner was chosen by Architectural Photographer and X-Rite Coloratti, Keith Cooper and Black and White Visual Artist, Training Consultant and X-Rite Coloratti, Mark Wood.
Fashion & Celebrity Photographer and X-Rite Coloratti, Frank Doorhof delivered live shows on raw editing using DxO software and adding props to a shoot, using the new and improved Rogue FlashBender 2 portable lighting tools. Frank was also promoting his recent book ‘Mastering the Model Shoot – Everything a Photographer Needs to Know Before, During and After the Shoot’, as well as promoting his upcoming events.
Commercial Photographer and X-Rite Coloratti, Adrian Weinbrecht did live model photo-shoots, Rogue FlashBender 2 portable lighting equipment. On Saturday 21st March, 20 visitors where given the opportunity to accompany Adrian on a Photowalk through Birmingham City Centre, where they were given photographic tips and techniques from a world class professional.
