Agfa Graphics strengthens and extends its distribution in the printing industry in the U.S.
One of the major U.S. supplier of products and systems for pre-press printing business has been bought by the Belgian group Agfa Graphics a worldwide leader in imaging and information technology.
Pitman Company is based in New Jersey and counts 502 employees in sixteen locations throughout the USA.
The amount of the transaction adds up to $ 80 million and significantly increases Afga's american revenue to over $ 500 million. The large customer base and industry knowledge that Pitman benifits from offers growth opportunities for immediate and unique industrial inkjet and prepress solutions for Agfa.
