November 9, 2009 marked the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall.
Almost no one knows, in Europe there is still one last “wall” that divides a capital and a state.
Despite UN efforts at resolution and a recent easing of tensions, Cyprus, and especially its capital and largest city, Nicosia, is the last European area to be crossed by a ceasfire line that divides the Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots.
