Stefanie Moshammer was born in Vienna 1988, graduated from Fashion School Vienna and received a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Design & Photography at University of Art and Design in Linz/Austria.
Afterwards she attended the BA in Advanced Visual Storytelling at the Danish School of Media and Journalism.
In Spring 2015 her first photo-book “Vegas and She” got published by Fotohof edition and is distributed internationally.
Her work plays on the the boundaries between documentary and art, touching on subjects of subculture, intimacy and ambiguity.

Stefanie Moshammer is one of the most exciting new artists who emerged from the Austrian photography scene in the last few years. It comes as no surprise that magazines are queuing to work with her, among them Zeit and Sueddeutsche magazine, and that she has just been picked for the prestigious FOAM Talents 2016 edition. Her works combine photojournalistic research and subjective sensibility with an almost magical command over composition and colour.
