Chacune de mes séries photographiques représente à la fois un défi technique et un challenge philosophique où l’image questionne l’instabilité inhérente à notre condition humaine dans des environnements et des contextes socio-culturels très divers. Mes images naissent de mon immersion dans des lieux où la mémoire historique fracture la mémoire familiale, perturbe les souvenirs personnels et questionne leur inscription dans le paysage et le réel. La nouvelle Calédonie, la Guyane, la Guadeloupe, la Jamaïque, Cuba, Haïti. Mais aussi la banlieue parisienne où j’ai fait ma dernière résidence et les Midlands en Angleterre où je réside. Joseph MckenzieJoseph McKenzie (1929-2015)Joseph McKenzie trained as a photographer whilst in the RAF, and became one of Britain's most prolific post-war practitioners. After his appointment as Lecturer in Photography at Duncan of Jordanstone College in 1964, he embarked on a series of ambitious documentary projects. McKenzie recorded the dramatic transformation of Scotland's cities during the 1960s. During a trip to Belfast in 1969, he witnessed the mounting sectarian violence and clearly sympathised with the Catholic minority. The controversy surrounding a subsequent showing of material at Aberdeen Art Gallery in 1972 compelled McKenzie to withdraw from public exhibition until the late 1980s.

Gregoire a. MeyerPhotographer / Digital Artist London-based artist Grégoire A. Meyer creates flawless digital illustrations that evoke emotionally thoughtful reactions. He captures the essence of fleeting moments, like a splash of water or a disintegrating face, and freezes them in time in ephemeral objects that appear almost tangible. The works are distortions of the human form and create a complex relationship between fact and fiction. Through expert digital techniques, Meyer constructs fragmented bodies and faces made out of shiny, reflective metallic.
