Heidi Bradner was born and raised in Alaska. After graduating from the University of Alaska, she interned at The Juneau Empire and other Alaskan publications. Bradner is participating in a series documenting the great Russian rivers that flow north through Siberia, an eight-year project organized and produced by Objective Reality organization in Russia ( www.photographer.ru ). Her ongoing work about the war in Chechnya since 1994 has received many awards, including the Leica Medal of Excellence. A new project documents the lifecycle of the Nenets, Arctic nomads in Siberia who migrate with their reindeer herds high above the Arctic Circle.She started photographing the Nenets and other cultures of the Russian North as a personal project. Mathew Brady est né au Warren County, New York (vers 1823, mort à New York en 1896), Mathew Brady était un photographe pendant la guerre de Sécession américaine.Quand il eut 17 ans, il s'établit à New York. En 1862, il présenta une exposition des photographies de la bataille d'Antietam, avec la description des cadavres sanglants, une chose nouvelle aux États-Unis.Mathew Brady fut également un photographe quasiment officiel du président Abraham Lincoln dont de nombreux portraits proviennent de son travail.

PHILIPPE BRAMEAuteur, Photographe.A la lecture des différents textes consacrés au travail de Philippe Brame, il apparaît clairement deux axes de travail qui se rejoignent et induisent inévitablement l'étendue des sensations éprouvées devant ses photographies.L'épure, d'une part, avec le choix délibéré de s'arrêter sur le « détail » (qui ne doit pas être compris comme l'élément anecdotique mais au contraire ce qui fait l'essentiel de ce qui est montré)Le duo Ombre/lumière serait à la limite du Caravagisme 3, si ce n'était pour offrir des images aux éclairages naturels souvent légers, parfois plus tranchés. Le photographe ne met pas en scène, il offre un regard. L'ombre se joue du relief, la lumière même ténue invite, comme dans la série des égl
