Born and lives in France.East Asia has been a source of inspiration since early years. She has visited China, Japan, Thailand, and Langkawi Island, as well as many other countries in the world.She also loves poetry, especially Japanese traditional Haiku and Tanka. Béla Bernand was born in budapest in 1911. He did his studies is england then came to Paris in 1933. He was photographer reporter for UJ Magazin / Budapest then starting from 1945 for BLACK-STAR Publishing Corp. He is covering spectacles in Paris. In 1962 he creates Agence de Presse BERNAND (8 millions of pictures) which constitute an important part of the "fond RONDEAU de la Bibliothèque Nationale" he is a reference in theatre, Opera and dance photography.However there is an unpublished part of his work which has stayed hidden to the general public up to now. As Béla Bernand's granddaughter I'm trying to make this part of his work known. Je nais aux Sables d’Olonne en 1960. A 12 ans mes parents m’offrent mon premier appareil photo. Petit à petit la magie de la photographie me gagne et rapidement je monte un labo photo d’abord dans la salle de bain, puis au fond du jardin familial afin d’avoir un lieu dédié exclusivement à la photographie.En 1977 j’effectue mon premier voyage vers l’Asie par la route. Je traverse le Proche Orient (Turquie), le Moyen Orient (Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan), pour arriver en Inde. Commence alors une longue série de voyages en Asie, Népal, Inde, Sri Lanka, Birmanie, Thaïlande, Laos, Cambodge, Malaisie, Singapour avec de nombreuses collaborations dans différents magazines.Dans les années 1990, je m’installe à Paris où j’alterne les voyages en Asie, complétant la phot

A côté de travaux de reportage et de portrait, je poursuis une démarche personnelle de street-photography. Une plongée dans le réel et ses fictions quotidiennes. Double éloignement du réel pour le coup ? (puisque la photographie a cette étrange faculté de rendre singulier ce qu'elle touche).
