French, born in 1972. Curently based in Paris.
At 22, Olivier start photography while he was student in Sociology. In 2006 he received a grant from the french Ministry for Culture of Beiijing and did an artist residence in the Guandong museum of Art for his project « Discrete Histories » in the city of Guangzhou in China. His work is often published in french and international press (Harper's Bazaar, Le Monde, Le Monde Diplomatique, Liberation, FAZ, Zoom, Courrier International, etc…). His work has been exhibited in the modern art museum of Guangzhou in 2005, in the Centro Recoletta in Buenos Aires during the festival of Light in 2004, in the Modern Art Museum of Champlitte in France in 2004, in the Cinema museum of Frankfurt in 2004, in the old train station of Arles during the RIP 2003 with Tangophoto and Blowup and during the Transphotographiques of Lille in 2003. He published his first book « State of siege » in 2004 with Actes Sud and participate with Jean Claude Coutausse, Antoine D'Agata and others photographers to a collective book - La photographie d'une terre et de son peuple de 1839 À nos jours.
