Baron Wolman is a 76 year old photographer, and he worked major part of his life for the Rolling Stone magazine, as the official photographer. He started his career as a hobby. The moment he picked up a camera, he fell in love with photography. The hobby became a career in 1961 where he took photos of the building of Berlin wall and wrote a story about it. He had both photo and story published in a major US newspaper. At that moment he said to himself, “voila, I now have a career… !!!”
Then, he wanted to be a photojournalist. But he changed his point of view and moved to USA, San Francisco. There, he met a young student in photography who, thanks to Wolman's help, wanted to create a new kind of magazine dedicated to photo and music. This is the first time the well-known photojournalist, famous for being the first chief photographer of the Rolling Stone magazine, brings his works to Russia.
