Ami Barwell : Rock'n'roll Music Photographer
Ami Barwell is a rock photographer that come to terms with the sex and decadent side of rock'n'roll. All the band that worked with her are greatly amazed by her work. Meeting with a female rock photographer that bite the music world every single day.
First of all, as a photographer, why did you choose music and espescially rock ?
I decided to photograph what I'm passionate about and what inspires me - and that's music. When I look at which bands I want to shoot and work with, I choose bands I love - the darker and sexier the better.
What are in you opinion the qualities to be a good rock photographer ?
You've got to really know how to use a camera, be able to do everything with your eyes shut and faster than anyone else. Also you've got to be passionate about rock 'n' roll and not care too much about ... - Interview

Tout d'abord, en tant que photographe, pourquoi avoir choisi la musique et plus particulièrement le rock ?
J'ai décidé de photographier ce par quoi je suis passionnée, ce par quoi je suis inspirée : et c'est la musique. Quand je cherche un groupe avec lequel je veux travailler ou réaliser des clichés, je choisis toujours des groupes que j'aprécie, les plus sombres et sexe sont le mieux !
