The exhibit will also feature a preview Russell James's project of passion "Nomad. Two Worlds", that is his emotional study of the conflict between the world's oldest surviving culture, the Australian aboriginals and the modern culture that arrived there some two hundred years ago. James formed collaboration with aboriginal artists and has undertaken journeys with them that follow the tracks of their cultural past. The works of Russell James have appeared in magazines such as Vogue, Marie Claire, W and GQ. Australian, born in 1962, James has lead an eventful career path that began on the assembly line of a factory making trash cans and went on to include becoming a dog trainer, a police officer in a special unit and also as a model before eventually experiencing his breakthrough as a photographer at the age of 34 in New York. In the meantime, he has become one of New York's most renowned artists as became impressively clear at the opening of the exhibition "Nomad. Two Worlds" at the Urban Zen gallery in January of this year.
