Is this the work of a visual genius or a visionary madman? Or both? Jeffery Scott is a photographic liar. The stunning and hyper-realistic photography presented here is not captured in real time, but through a laborious process of manipulation. Each picture represents an average of fifty hours of meticulous work in which elements are assembled from dozens of images to construct the combined whole. Mr. Scott conjures amazing characters, environments and situations that thoroughly blur the line between the real and the imagined. Layer upon layer of information reveals in-depth philosophies, concepts and stories. Thought-provoking titles communicate ideas between artist and viewer. This is a stunning introduction to deep emotive and contemplative realms.
