AGRAPH est née de la volonté d'un groupe de photographes des ateliers des Beaux-Arts de la Ville de Paris de concrétiser des objectifs communs : échanger autour de l'image et de l'art en général et exposer leurs travaux grâce à la bonne volonté de la quarantaine de membres de tous horizons qui compose l'association. Le maître mot de l'association est la diversité : diversité de personnes, de vécus, de cultures … Pas la diversité qui sépare mais celle qui nous enrichit, qui nous permet de partager nos émotions et de les exprimer par le médium de la photographie.
AGRAPH/ Photographers from the Beaux-Arts of Paris photo workshops formed Agraph because they shared a common goal. Using the image specifically and art generally, the group aims to create an exchange of ideas, cultures, lives through the exhibition of the work of the 40-odd members who come from all walks of life. The group's leitmotif is diversity: diversity of peoples, lives and cultures; diversity that enriches not divides; diversity that encourages us to share our emotions and to express them through the medium of photography.
