Enter The ASMP LA Photo Competition For A Chance To Be Seen By Thousands At PHOTO LA!
The Los Angeles Chapter of the ASMP is proud to announce its second annual photography competition. All members and non members are invited to enter. Contest theme is “AWAKENINGS,” which is open to any and all visual interpretations.
Deadline: December 17, 2015
Prizes : 32 images will be chosen to be exhibited at http://www.photola.com/">PHOTO, the largest photography convention in California, on the weekend of Jan 21-24, 2016.
All winning images will be published on the http://www.photola.com/">PHOTO website.
Note: Contestants must reside in the United States. You may submit as many photos as you wish.
Entry fees. The cost for each image you submit is $7 for ASMP members or $9 for non-members.
Ready to Enter?
You can start right now. First, read http://www.photola.com/">PHOTO to find out about preparing your submission images. And, of course, you should definitely read the http://www.photola.com/">PHOTO, although you won’t find any shockers there.
Next, you will http://www.photola.com/">PHOTO, giving your contact and attribution info.
Then, you will buy one or more “upload credits”, one credit for each image you intend to submit. That will enable the image-upload form. After each upload, you’ll see a thumbnail of your photo; click on the thumbnail to view it at full resolution.
Check the thumbnail and the full-resolution view carefully. If you don’t like what you see, you can delete it and try again, until it’s just what you want.
You will be able to make changes to your contact info and your submitted photos right up until the contest closes. Whatever is in the system at closing time will be packaged up and sent to the judges.
The winners will be notified by December 20. By December 25, each winner will deliver a high-resolution file for printing at full exhibition size, as determined by the judges. ASMP will print and mount the images, and they will be hung for public viewing at Photo LA in January.
