Fotofever Paris 2015
In 2015, the presence of japanese galleries is always important, with galleries such as Emon Photo Gallery and tezukayama gallery. among the new galleries, Lumiere Brothers Gallery which constitutes the most important private collection of Russian photography, photo edition berlin from Berlin and Alidem – L’arte della fotografia from Milan. More than ever, this is the international rendez-vous, dedicated to contemporary photography for all those who want to discover and support emerging artists !
Fotofever's motto can be summarised in two words: discovery and acquisition. fotofever's mission is to give access to the energy and diversity of contemporary photography and to build strong bridges between the collector and galleries/artists. to achieve its goal, fotofever is constantly developing an international network of committed actors to spread their knowledge of contemporary photography and to create a platform of discussion and exchange.
After 4 years, fotofever’s commitment embodies itself in various projects:
Start to collect : to initiate young and established collectors to the photographic medium, fotofever, in collaboration with the exhibitors have selected 100 works at less than 1000 €, exhibited in a dedicated space
Vip program : to accompany our vip with an exclusive vip preview, visits of the fair with industry experts, meetings with collectors and artists and a dedicated vip lounge …
Fotocollection : to discover a curated exhibition with a selection of art works part of galila barzilaï hollander's private collection, that have been chosen for this year's theme : the "chair."
Fotoprize : to reveal new talents with the 2015 winner, juliette-andréa elie. she will exhibit new works from her series fading landscapes.
Collectfoto : to assist the public with a bilingual guide for new art collectors, presenting itself such a 50 pages magazine distributed freely to each visitor.
Fotobook : to highlight the fair’s best artworks in a beautifully printed hard cover coffee table book.
