Haines Gallery is delighted to be participating once again in Fog Design + Art, presented in collaboration with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. At this year's fair we will be featuring a solo booth of recent works by Bay Area photographer John Chiara.

John Chiara's process is part photography, part event, and part sculpture. Utilizing a large, handmade camera obscura mounted on a trailer, Chiara points his lens at the in-between landscapes, architectural quirks and overlooked moments of beauty that make San Francisco so extraordinary. Chiara's one-of-a-kind, large-scale prints--made without the use of a negative--form a glossy, handmade addition to the photographic record of a city like no other.

Preview Gala Tickets for Wednesday, January 14th, can be purchased online, benefiting SFMOMA. The fair is open to the public Thursday, January 15th from 11am to 8pm, Friday and Saturday from 11am to 7pm and Sunday from 11am to 5pm.
