Mitch Dobrowner (b. 1956) lives in California, and he is known for his unique and glorious landscapes and powerful storm photographs. They have been published extensively, and he now has a beautiful monograph out, published by Aperture. His gorgeous digital prints are creatively made, from the camera to computer development to the print. Below is a selection for an exhibition here that begins on September 20, 2014. In deference to his other dealers, I am not showing five of the images below until the show starts. Many more photographs can be viewed on his website.
