The artistic concept of David Renggli is based on the conviction that contemporary still life should be more than an obvious grouping of objects of the 'nature-morte'. His staged sculptural groupings of everyday objects exist both as installations, and as photographs of a reality that he puts at the center of discussion. In a subtle way these works confront one with questions like 'What is real? What is true?'. Renggli's universe is subversive and disrupts existing order.
