As staff photographer at the Chicago Sun-Times, John H. White was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1982. We will be exhibiting a range of works by this renowned photojournalist, including a series of images from the 1980s documenting social housing projects in Chicago.
Daniel Blau's gallery is particularly pleased to present this exhibition, as questions about the role of photojournalism in today's media arose with the dissolution of the entire photography department at the Chicago Sun-Times a few months ago.
