Official 11. hetki Studiossa pe 11.02.2011 klo 17-19 The artistic approach Eleven hours in the Aude - France and eleven hours to Turku - Finland, why this title? Because first of all the photography is one between two, a conjunction of two mobilities, a present and a past, the union of a diaphragm and a speed, a double, that is a game between the same and the other one. « The thought invites us in the division of the me, in the spécularisation of our thought as the other subject, in the double vision of the reality » 1. The figure eleven seemed to me to be the figure the closest to the deep sense of the photography, a photo is never subjected to be only a simple picture, it sends back to a history, in a time(period). It is the principle of the photography, to be and to become, if I testify in an instant of an event, in future the same moment will be analyzed as a past event, it will exist again by the echo of a second reading, a repetition. It is this comings and goings, this round trip which questioned me, between the "one" in point of departure and this other "one" as return, also this temporal gap between both but still, eleven the figure as a photographic diaphragm, this small opening which paradoxically allows a big depth of field. My searches around the figure eleven also led me towards palindromes, from former(ancient) Greek, palindromos " which runs the other way around ", stays the same that we read it from left to right or from right to left, Finnish is a language convenient to palindromes lengths and I am lucky to expose in Finland the 11.02.2011 which is a palindromique date. The palindrome is as a reflecting mirror and naturally, I saw at once her metaphoric relation with the photography. 1Stéphane Sanchez, dissertation(1997) , the mirror and photography.
