New book exhibits unique approaches for modernphotographers
Author and photographer Andrew J. Boyd teaches technique and inspires creativity in Photographing Women
COLUMBIANA, Ohio (MMD Newswire) June 22, 2010 -- In
Photographing Women: A Noble Assignment, author Andrew J.
Boyd shares his photographic experiences from the early days
of his career through his digital work of today.
"My goal is to tell a story of progression and respect in photography - passing on what I have learned from a personal
perspective," says Boyd.
In Photographing Women, Boyd presents a basic, hands-on approach to photographing women. Intending to guide the
novice as well as the advanced photographer, Boyd offers technical advice and helpful tips for getting the best shot,
whether indoors or outdoors, based on his own experience of what works. Using over 80 images he has captured throughout
his career, including images dating back to the mid 1950s, Boyd aims to challenge readers to generate new ideas, get creative,
and find their own unique approach to photographing women.
"Women for the most part have been central to my work over the years," says Boyd. "I consider photography a modern art
form and women fit into that perfectly."
