In her black and white images Jana documented the bodies and emotions of the people in front of her camera. Even in our days while digital photography and photoshop modifications are usual, the artist still works with natural light situations. In that way her works get a constant grey immaculate charisma which puts reality in the rear. She uses Barytpaper for her works.
Jana’s work consists of photography of human body and face, capturing the image and mood of the subject. Even in today’s world of digital photography, Jana favors pictures with grey shades, natural lighting and develops her photographs by hand. People in her works are captured in fragments and gestures. The human body with its subjective uniqueness, infinite feelings, shapes and forms is at the center of her work.
