Berlin Summer Workshops 2012
Le "Berlin photo Workhop" propose différents stages de photographies durant tout l'été à Berlin. Ces stages sont menés par de grands photographes allemands comme Mark Curran, Göran Gnaudschun, Kai-Olaf Hesse ou encore Peter Oehlman, qui prodigueront leurs conseils et leur expérience du terrain.
BerlinPhotoWorkshops is the initiative of four photographers, Mark Curran, Göran Gnaudschun, Kai-Olaf Hesse and Peter Oehlmann who wish to share their knowledge about photography. Through seminars and workshops, we offer courses on various topics tightly linked to our own interests and artistic approaches.

Rupture - Cause & Effect
The artists come from Thailand, Germany, France and Great Britain.
To be shown at the Bangkok Art and Culture Centre will be a unique exhibition of five international photographic artists who in varying yet very distinctive ways, explore photographically the recent political crisis that blistered and then erupted in Bangkok. All five visions when installed together will provide the viewer with a jarred, broken and potently visionary, visceral experience.
The diversity of the artists is a key component to the impact of ‘Rupture – Cause & Effect’, photographically each one hits an alternative nuance, an incisive & personal resonance, that is not currently represented. On October 3, 2009, the Day of German Unity, and on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, the Foundation Brandenburger Tor in the Max Liebermann House will open the exhibition 'Szenen und Spuren eines Falls. Die Berliner Mauer im Fokus der Photographen' (Scenes and Traces of a Fall. The Berlin Wall in the eyes of photographers). This historical change is presented in an individual and, at the same time, exemplary manner in 140 works by 21 renowned photographers. The Foundation Brandenburger Tor has its seat directly adjacent to Germany' s national monument.
