Après l’exposition « Notes sur l’asphalte, une Amérique mobile et précaire, 1950-1990 » (8 février – 16 avril 2017), le Pavillon Populaire poursuit sa saison consacrée à la photographie américaine avec une exposition inédite «William Gedney (1932-1989), Only the lonely», du 28 juin au 17 septembre 2017.

Exhibition : « All Facts Eventually Lead to Mysteries » by Gedney William
New York – An exhibition of influential photographs by William Gedney made in Kentucky and across the U.S. in the 1960s and 1970s will be on view at Howard Greenberg Gallery from February 5 – March 19, 2016. William Gedney: All Facts Eventually Lead To Mysteries will include the artist’s intimate portrayals of out-of-work coal miners and their families in rural Kentucky, hippie culture scenes from San Francisco, and his lonely-streets-at-night pictures from his travels around the U.S.

New York – Staff Picks IV, an exhibition of photographs selected by the staff of Howard Greenberg Gallery, will be on view at the Gallery from December 11, 2014, through January 24, 2015.
An eclectic selection of images chosen by the entire gallery staff will include more than 80 well-known and little-known works by Bruce Davidson, Walker Evans, Louis Faurer, William Gedney, Bedrich Grunzweig, Dave Heath, Consuelo Kanaga, James Karales, Saul Leiter, Leon Levinstein, Joel Meyerowitz, Marvin Newman, Ruth Orkin, W. Eugene Smith, Iwao Yamawaki, Weegee, and many others.
