Thomas Appert

Né en France, Thomas APPERT, se consacre entièrement à la photographie après un parcours couronné de succès à l'Ecole de l'image des Gobelins. Passionné de voyages, il voue une réelle fascination aux lieux crées par la main de l'homme mais vides de sa présence. Parcourant la planète, d'une ville à l'autre, il relève l'audacieux défi de faire vivre « ses no man's land » . C'est ainsi que des paysages, des espaces et des lieux de la vie quotidienne entièrement désertés s'animent et se chargent d'intensité.


I grew up in Paris-France, and that's after my first trip to Kenya when I was 17 years old, what I decide the photography will be my passion and my life.
So I study during tree years the technical and the process to the developing and printing.
Then after a short experience in a professional lab as SIPA and PICTO, I decide to return to school Gobelins for studying a photo shot. I go out with success and a diploma, I start freelance assistant to some of the best fashion and advertising campaigns photographers. That a great chance to did the world tour, just to shoot an advertising order with the client and the agency.
From this way I understood all the process and I can used too many equipments according to the project, underwater, flash, HMI, large format and the small.... with this aim in view the result and to obtain the client satisfaction.
From the roll and digital and with all the camera system I received all my experience.
The light works stay every time my priority, because she sculpt and sublimate our day and ours thinks.
This new life is very exciting and I think to be one of the most interesting applicants by my professionals' quality and my nice humanism.
I'm before everything a passion persona at work and I love to go off the explore the people and the culture far or not far away.
