Ryan Enn Hughes is a Director and Photographer based in Toronto, Canada. REH VISUALS is his multimedia production company that creates visual content including videos, photography, animated gifs, interactive media, and digital installations. Clients include Microsoft, AT&T, Facebook, Samsung, Bell, Telus, SK Telecom, Uniqlo, Bacardi, PBS Television, TSN, TD Bank, The CFL, The University of Toronto, Canada's National Ballet School, Vice Media, Maxim, Katy Perry and The New York Times. Advertising agencies that REH VISUALS has collaborated with include Saatchi & Saatchi, BBDO, DDB, Sid Lee, Blast Radius, M5, Recreation Worldwide, and Virtue. Ryan is the recipient of a Chalmers Arts Fellowship and a commissioned filmmaker for The 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics. Spurred by the advent of digital technologies, both industries have seen a significant change to the channels and processes for ownership and distribution. The traditional frameworks that once upheld a distance between photographers, fans, stars and their labels have collapsed to allow for new routes and territories in which music photography is produced, shared and consumed.
