was born in 1947 in Bremen. He lives and works as a freelance photographer in Worpswede. From 2001 to 2002 he was a professor in the college for arts in Bremen as well as 2008 a teaching representative in the academy of arts Münster.
Since 2003 Lubricht works on the long time project CHERNOBYL - life with a tragedy and undertook six trips in the contaminated closed zones of the Ukraine and Byelorussia. There he took photos of desolate villages and towns which have become uninhabitable by radioactively contaminated precipitation on a continuing basis. He was in search of the old people, in the vernacular they are called the partisans who have returned after the compulsive evacuation in 1986 in her old villages and houses.
The photos of Lubricht were already shown in many galleries and museums of Germany and Europe with big attention.
