Alvin Booth was born in Hull, an industrial city in the Northeast of England. He left school at the age of seventeen and trained to become a hairdresser. After working in Hull he later moved to Oxford where his interest in photography grew. In 1989 he gave up hairdressing and moved to New York City. He divides his time between New York and the southwest of France.More recently Booth completed a film commission, «Le Beau Est Toujours Bizarre», for the Princess Grace Foundation. Artiste, photographe et journaliste, elle a une maîtrise en Image et son ( Ecole de communication et arts de l´université de São Paulo). En 1996, elle a fait une spécialisation à l'International Center of Photography de New York. En tant qu'artiste, depuis 1997, elle se consacre à la création des espaces/ambiances, à partir de différents médias, qui proposent une participation plus interactive et multi sensorielle du spectateur. Son travail a été présenté dans le cadre de plusieurs expositions individuelles et collectives au Brésil et aux Etats-Unis, de même qu'en France, en Afrique du Sud, au Kenya, en Espagne, en Autriche, au Costa Rica et en République Tchèque.

Philippe BORDAS, L'Afrique à poings nusPhilippe Bordas est né en 1961. Il a vécu à Sarcelles jusqu'à 19 ans. Etudes de lettres. Chroniqueur des courses cyclistes pour L'Equipe de 1984 à 1989. Il débute la photo en 1990 et est pensionnaire de la Villa Médicis en1996. Son dernier ouvrage, L'Afrique à poings nus, édité au Seuil, a obtenu le Prix Nadar en 2004. Les photos des boxeurs du Kenya ont été prises à Nairobi entre 1988 et 1991.

My name is Alexandre Bordereau, and I can be found on the web with the pseudonym aRe-y0u-iN as an artist name. I am 22, French and I am self taught, I have never taken any courses in photography or graphic design. But I have studied computer science at the University, just programming, not design. I started taking photos 4 years ago on a whim, starting with my cell phone, then buying my first SLR leaving me more freedom to do the editing after the picture has been taken. My main motivation is to see if I can recreate in terms of an image what I could think or imagine.Usually I focus on the originality of a photograph, that is why I rarely do a series on the same subject. Joanna Borderie organise en 2001 uneexposition intitulée Les nuages, pour la Mission Photographique du Conseil général de Seine Saint Denis. En 2002, elle obtient une maîtrise de photographie et multimédia, puis étudie le cinéma. Chef opérateur sur deux courtsmétrages, en 2002 et 2003. Elle anime ensuite des ateliers vidéo et graphisme à la MJC de Sarcelles. De 2003 à 2005, elle exerce en post-production cinéma.
