BIO & REFERENCES

Born in Cannes (France) in 1979 and raised in the area of Paris, Patrick has an educational background in Economics and Linguistics with a BA in English/German and MA in Business Administration from the Paris Business School (ESCP-EAP 2005).

His first passion lay in American football which he played for 14 years including several selections with the French national teams. He was part of 4 national champion teams with the French team La Courneuve Flash and the German team Berlin Adler in 2004. He also reached the final of the youth European championship with Team France in 1998.

After spending several years in the US, Sweden and Berlin, Patrick left a job in the German software industry to pursue an interest in photography. Fully self-taught, he first started shooting in Berlin for fashion and portrait clients before resettling to Shanghai in 2006. Patrick has since then been working as a freelancer in the fields of portraiture, reportage, corporate and advertising photography.

His commercial clients include : Adidas, The North Face, Nike, Finnair, Suez Environment, Cathay Pacific, Sanofi-Aventis, Volkswagen Group, Allianz, Cartier, Bentley, Hermes, Shangri-La Group, L’Oreal, Thales Group, IKEA, La Maison de la Chine, Gulfstream Aerospace, Max Planck Institute and Suez Environment.

Patrick is also active in the field of photojournalism and part of the reknown German photo agency LAIF. He has recently shot features in Fukushima for The Sunday Times and in North Korea for The Sunday Telegraph. He also publishes on a regular basis for magazines such as The Monocle, The Good Life, Courrier International, Le Point, Tatler, EOS magazine and Travel & Leisure.

He is fluent in French, English and German and proficient in Mandarin Chinese.
