Le 6ème mois de la photo européenne est à Berlin. Vous avez jusqu'au 16 novembre pour vous y rendre !
L'"European Month of Photography" est le festival photo le plus important d'Allemagne. Il réunit les plus grands photographes, les curateurs, les journalistes, les amoureux de la photographie et autres spécialistes. Ensemble, ils tenteront de réfléchir à ce qui les touche et de quelle Europe rêvent-ils ?
C'est l'occasion de découvrir plus de 500 expositions à travers la ville de Berlin.

MEMORY LAB: THE SENTIMENTAL TURN PHOTOGRAPHY CHALLENGES HISTORY
How do photographers and artists today represent historical events, defining cultural characteristics and the changes they undergo, and social relations? How is memory formulated, and how do we resist forgetting?
Over the past two decades, a type of photography has established itself that openly rejects the long-prevailing principles of documentary photography and photojournalism. The photographers counter strategies based on objectivity and objective visualization with an emotionally charged eye. The operative factor here is a professional, deliberate gaze that is also investigative and open to fascination. BENDANA-PINEL Art Contemporain, nouvelle galerie parisienne accueil pour sa première exposition Pablo Zuleta Zahr. Ce jeune artiste chilien travaillant à Berlin présente une oeuvre photographique intégrant les grandes oppositions de la vie : le tout et le détail, l'individualité et la masse, la structure et le chaos dans une forme qui ne nie pas la co-existence de ces éléments mais laisse cette complexité s'exprimer simplement.
Dans la série Baquedano Pablo Zuleta Zahr a installé sa camera vidéo dans des espaces urbains de forte affluence. Pablo Zuleta Zahr BUTTERFLYJACKPOT
The SEPTEMBER gallery is mounting the first solo exhibition in Berlin devoted to the photo and video artist Pablo Zuleta Zahr. The show is called BUTTERFLYJACKPOT. We cordially invite you to the opening on December 7th beginning at 7 pm.
Pablo Zuleta Zahr's video installation BUTTERFLYJACKPOT brings four women together for the course of one day. The women did not know one another previously. The artist cast the actors, who come from four different cities in Belgium, Germany, and Holland, on the Internet. The participants meet each other for the first time in their lives and spend the day according to exact specifications. Each of the women takes the others on a tour of her home city. She shows them her favorite sight and her favorite restaurant, and subsequently invites them to her apartment. The scenes were filmed w... - Exposition

The Chilean and Berlin based artist Pablo Zuleta Zahr (*1978) presents at NAK a solo show, which features photo works as well as the four channel video installation Butterfly Jackpot. The video installation was exclusively produced by NAK and Z33, Hasselt, Belgium for the euregional project After Cage.
Zuleta Zahr's works integrate the big opposites of life, like detail and total composition, individuality and mass and also chaos and structure, in a form, which dosen't deny the existence of this wide range, but let's its complexity be experienced in a simplified way.
His photo works, which emerge since 2003, are in a way an inversion of the principles of photography. Out of a multi hour take...
