Exhibition: « Cuba mi Amor » by Mario Marino
Through the ‘Cuba Mi Amor’ exhibition, photographer Mario Marino offers a splendid glimpse into daily life in the Cuban capital, Havana. Marino has portrayed ‘regular’ people, such as the lady selling eggs, the boxer and the cobbler. Instead of creating distance, he uses his camera to make contact.
Austrian-born photographer Mario Marino (1967) is a true globetrotter. 5 years ago, he surprised the world with a penetrating series of photographs of the people of Ethiopia’s Omo Valley. The ‘Cuba Mi Amor’ exhibition is his declaration of love for the Cuban capital of Havana.
