Moved to Weimar and 1926 to Dessau (Bauhaus).

1929 - 1932
Taught photography at the Johannes Itten School in Berlin.

1933
Moved to Paris and some time later to England
lecture on photography at the London School of Painting and Graphic Art and the Central School of Arts and Crafts.

After 1940
worked in scientific documentation, i.a. as consultant for UNESCO and the World Health.
