Lars Hübner is a freelance photographer based in Berlin, Germany. Available for assignments worldwide.
I was born in Rostock, Germany in 1981. After having graduated with a M.A. in Sociology and Philosophy I worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. I began to study Visual Communication at the Art School in Berlin Weissensee in 2009 and graduate with a M.A. in 2014. Currently I live in Berlin as a freelance photographer while working on my Meisterschüler degree in photography. If you have any questions about me and my work please don't hesitate to contact me.
C'est à l'occasion de l'exposition L'image se fait dans la tête – La jeune photographie allemande que le Goethe Institut de Paris nous a fait découvrir quatre nouveaux talents : Lukas Fischer, Christoph Engelhard, Jannis Schulze et Lars Hübner. C'est ce dernier qui aura été notre coup de cœur pour sa série taïwanaise Nothing to Declare. Ce qui nous a interpellé : un sentiment de proximité et d'échange avec des images aux couleurs vives, où le photographe se mêle à une vie quotidienne qui s'organise entre traditions et modernité, entre vie urbaine et vie rurale, entre solitude et vie communautaire. Nous avons voulu en savoir plus sur ce jeune photographe de 35 ans.
