Kent Krugh is a fine art photographer, living and working in Greater Cincinnati, OH. Eight years ago, he began to study photography seriously, first taking classes with academic professionals locally, and then attending workshops in alternative processes with Dan Burkholder and Craig Barber. His most recent work, “Inside the Gate,” examines the natural landscape at the intersection of faith and science.

Krugh’s work has been exhibited at three major festivals during the past three years: Fringe Festival 2010, Cincinnati, OH; FotoFest 2011, Houston, TX; and FotoFocus Biennial 2012, Cincinnati, OH. His work appears in numerous catalogs, as well as the International Photography Annual 1 (Manifest Press, Essay by Robert Spahr, Jason Franz). He has received numerous awards in national and international print and portfolio competitions, including 2012 Critical Mass Finalist.

In 2013, three solo exhibitions are scheduled regionally: “Inside the Gate,” The Carnegie Arts Center, Covington, KY; “Angel Oak” at Clifton Cultural Art Center, Cincinnati, OH and “Spectral” at University of Cincinnati – Clermont College, Batavia, OH. This summer Krugh has been invited by curator Juan Alberto Gaviria to exhibit “Inside the Gate” in multiple exhibitions for ZOOMFEST 2013, Medellin, Columbia, South America, where he will also teach in collaboration with Colegiatura Colombiana del Diseño, Fundacion Universitaria de Bellas Artes and Centro Colombo Americano under the auspices of the Universidad de Antioquia.
