Julian Dartois is a freelance stylist, born and raised in Paris.
At university, he studied art and art history at l’Institut Superieur des Arts Appliqués, and went on to complete his studies at the renowned fashion institution, Studio Berçot.
Through his years in training, after assisting stylists, namely Alberto Zanoletti for ELLE Italy, Christopher Niquet for MIXTE, and many others, he worked with magazines such as L'OFFICIEL, PURPLE, INTERVIEW, VOGUE, VANITY FAIR, MUSE, POP, DOUBLE, PONYSTEP, ARENA HOMMES +, DOSSIER, DAZED&CONFUSED and with photographers including Cécile Bortoletti, Brad Eltermann, Max Farago, Zoe Gertner, Marc de Groot, Skye Parott, Terry Richardson, Gianpaolo Sgura, Gilles Toledano, Cedric Viollet, Olivier Zahm.
During this time, Julian also contributed to various television and commercial projects, as well as advertising campaigns such as NIKE, AG, MARCHESA, SALVATORE FERRAGAMO, GALLERIE LAFAYETTE, DIOR, LOUIS VUITTON...
Since 2012 he worked for MACKEENE as Artistic Director.
One year ago he moved to Los Angeles.
Since transitioning from assisting, Julian's work has been featured in L'OFFICIEL HOMMES, JALOUSE, I-D, FRENCH, DEUTSCH, NEO2, DANDY, STEEL.
