On the second floor there's Double Take: Drawing and Photography while Print Sales Gallery has Stephen Gill's myeyefellout with works from six iconic series and our Media Wall features works by Jesse McLean, Nicholas O'Brien and the Scandinavian Institute of Computational Vandalism in CONTOURS.

Exhibition : Shining in Absence, A homage to Frido Troost
Foam presents a short-term exhibition on the publication of the photobook Shining in Absence. It is a special honour to the photography historian Frido Troost (1960 – 2013), who passed away in 2013. Both the book and the exhibition are edited and designed by the advertising specialist and curator Erik Kessels. The book is published by AMC Books (London) and will be presented on Thursday April 2, 2015 during the opening of the exhibition.

Album Beauty is an ode to the vanishing era of the photo album as told through the collection of Erik Kessels (1966, The Netherlands). Once commonplace in every home, the photo album has been replaced by the digital age where images live online and on hard drives. Photo albums were once a repository for family history, often representing a manufactured family as edited for display. They speak of birth, death, beauty, sexuality, pride, happiness, youth, competition, exploration, complicity and friendship. Album Beauty is an exhibition about the visual anthropology of the photo album.

I was here questions and presents different approaches to the subject of tourism, from a photographic heritage, which seems to be innocuous, anonymous, forgotten and often of average quality - from the technical point of view.
Tourism and photography have always maintained a close relationship - one is growing parallel to the democratization of the other.
Photography appears to be an indispensable means for tourists to own their subject, to fully possess the experience of a landscape, of a historic or cultural site.
Speaking of all, trips, vacations and tourism, the pictures exhibited here, know different stages of valorization: on one side preserved for their aesthetic value and historic interest, on the other side reconsidered by artists and replicated in another context.
