Christian Franz Tragni.

Based in Brazil, born in Italy (1970). Graduated at the Bauer School of Photography, Milan, Italy. Intermediate course of photography for movies at Stein Produçoees, with the famous brazilian director of photography and director Alziro Barbosa, San Paulo. Speaks italian, english, portuguese and spanish.

He collaborates with the newspaper Folha de Sao Paulo since 2010.

In 2006 and 2007 he was selected for the collective exhibition “Prima Visione” at the Belvedere Gallery, Milan.

In 2010 he was the director of photography and camera for “Inexoravel” brazilian short film which won the international festival of Cascavel and participated to the international festivals: Filme Livre at CCBB (Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Brasilia) and Mumia in Belo Horizonte.

In 2010 Participates as a photography assistant to Brazilian short film, Procura-se. International Exhibition on Cartoon Network. Best Film Jury Children’s Prix Jeunesse-Iberoamerican Festival 2011. 32 International Festival Del Nuevo Cine Latino Americano De Havana, Cuba.

In 2012 participates to the mundial advertising campaign of Kartell for the ten years of the Philippe Starck’s chair Louis Ghost, producing and photographing the chair in Rio de Janeiro.

In 2013 he is finalist, with the reportage” Women and crack” of the Globo Brazil Journalist contest award, published in the magazine Marie Claire.

In 2013 a photo of Rio de Janeiro is selected and published in the section of the best travel photos 2013 from the website of the National Geographic

In 2014 he participates in the exhibition “Festivalma” in Sao Paulo, in the “Pavilhão das Culturas Brasileiras”

In 2014 he participates, with many images. at a english book project called “Investigative Journalism in Brazil”

In January 2015 the brazilian book “Novos tempos, novas engrenagens” is published by “Editora do Brasil”

with his collaboration about the deforestation in the brazilian Amazon forest.
